Freedom Princess Update
ATP received some encouraging news this week. I was moved to tears when the father of the “Freedom Princess” emailed me with an incredible update on his daughter’s progress. Below is the message he sent:
Victor, we believe that evening, August 11, 2015 was the beginning of her healing and restoration and are so thankful that you took the time to pray with her. We are also thankful for the thousands of prayer warriors that saw your post and prayed for her. God has been faithful and has been doing a wonderful work in her.
It has been a journey but she is doing wonderful. She has turned back towards the Lord and God has placed other Christians in her life as mentors and friends – this is an answer to our prayers.
She is doing wonderful in school, has a part-time job. No longer is she in bondage to self-harm, drugs or alcohol. She will be a senior this coming year and will be graduating. She dreams of becoming a nurse and healing others.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I am attaching the photo you posted that night as well as a picture taken a few days ago.
Thank you again for being available to be used by God.

This sweet teenager was in the audience where I spoke on spiritual strongholds that are demonic at their source.
Her parents asked if I would talk to her and I said, “Does she want to talk?” She was obviously in bondage with a history of drug use etc. and was in a treatment facility but able to come out to that night’s event at her parents’ church.
We sat down and I asked her what she really wanted. She said, “To really be happy.” I asked her, “Do you have a relationship with Jesus?” She said she didn’t think so, even though she was raised in church by Godly parents.
I asked, “Shall we pray to see if any demonic strongholds are assigned to you just like in my talk tonight?” She started experiencing fear and was slightly shaking so we prayed. She clearly had demonic activity and so, by the power of God, this spirit was commanded to communicate through her mind that he had told her these lies:
- That she was not loved by God.
- Drugs were the only way to happiness.
- There was no value in her life.
The Truth God showed her in that moment was she that she was indeed loved and worth everything! The demon was commanded under the authority of Jesus Christ to go. She then talked to God and starting asking for forgiveness for horrible things she had told her parents, her rejection of God, etc. etc. It was beautiful to hear this sweet teen really pouring her heart out to the Lord and then surrender to Him!
This is the greatest miracle: a soul being saved! We are thankful for her freedom! Let’s remember what I told her that when she looks at her arms and the enemy whispers darts to her of how messed up she was, that she can simply say, “These scars will always remind me that by His stripes I am healed and Jesus’ scars he bears are because He loves me!”
The “Freedom Princess”, we shall call her, is thankful for your prayers and I’m excited to see her growth. The enemy will regret the day he started bullying her and bringing her into bondage and despair!
Thank You Jesus, Who came to destroy the works of the enemy!

PS: Amazing how some Christians will not allow for the truth of freedom because it doesn’t fit their traditional doctrine that they have been taught. When I pray for people who have strongholds it may be unconventional – addressing the demonic – but it certainly is not unscriptural. Jesus did the same.
I have asked these same skeptics, “So how do you deal with people who have been suffering from demonic strongholds?” ……..sound of crickets…….. So we will continue being obedient in praying for those whom the Lord brings to us as we have for the last decade seeing many set free. So they are not just going to church and suffering in silence pretending to try to be the best they can be, when really they are crying out to be truly free!
