Outreach to California Institute for Women

Your prayers were answered for the outreach to CIW!  Here’s the fruit: Over 300 women attended the two sessions and 50 women gave their lives to Christ!  Also, 48 women recommitted their lives to Jesus!
Their own prison choir sang a faith-filled song titled, “I Still Have A Future,” which blew the roof off the place (figuratively – no explosives used and no one escaped!).  The song revealed the hope Jesus gives them – even in prison – and the confidence they have in His Promise of Redemption and New Beginnings no matter your past.
God tied that song nicely into Eileen’s message from John 8:1-11, the story of the woman caught in adultery.  Eileen shared her heart with the prisoners and said, “I want to bring you to Jesus – not like the Pharisees did the woman caught in adultery to condemn her – but to be your defense!”  The Spirit fell and the women’s hearts were opened for Jesus’ Love for them.  Not a dry eye in the house….lots of Kleenex passed out to everyone!
Kathy Priest and Liz Holt each shared a message and their testimonies, mixed with transparency and outrageous humor!  The prison ushers had to pass out Kleenex again to dry the tears of both heartbreak and insane laughter!
