This past weekend was our first outreach done in Maine with Ken Graves. A ton of fun! Youth facility outreach and a men’s conference in an area wide evangelistic event. The spiritual warfare was wicked but the spiritual harvest was wonderful and worth it. All said and done 62 youth and adults made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. We have received so many e-mails and Facebook feedback that we stand amazed at the work the Lord did. Check out the pictures from our trip below.
I am always encouraged that in a short amount of time God’s Spirit can reach through and touch youth. These youth have struggled with anger from abuse, attempted suicide, addictions, pride, and all the things that drive people into despair and a life that is the farthest thing from what God desires for them. What changes people? The message of the Cross, the power of Jesus’ blood shed for the remission of sin and shame, and for youth and adults alike to learn and live by who they are in Christ not who they are in the world.
What stood out most of all during our trip was the church we were hosted by, Calvary Chapel Bangor. There was a very clear sense that not much “gray” was tolerated. What I mean is that folks there are being taught clearly the Word of God with authority to know what is right and what is wrong. Folks seemed to know who they were in Christ (sinners saved by grace). The young women and ladies embraced modesty, the men had servant hearts and hands made to war for the kingdom. I was shocked at the number of young teen men at this church who came up over the course of my time there. They looked me in the eye while giving me a firm handshake and thanked me for coming and speaking. Wow! How refreshing! I urge you to go to their website and download any message by Pastor Ken Graves and you will see why God’s kingdom has infected the culture up there not the other way around. May we be found faithful to be salt and light in our culture and sphere of influence for God’s glory. Feel free to order a copy of the DVD outreach from them. It can be a great source of evangelism and encouragement for you or someone you know. May you this week sense the Lord’s felt presence and be encouraged!

just got this in really great feedback
Greetings from Maine. Thank you so much for taking time to share with us last weekend. It was a huge blessing. The Lord opened doors in my heart, in my wife’s heart and in our marriage through the testimony you shared. The Lord used you to really allow us to work through childhood hurts that we didn’t even know where there anymore. You know? God is good. Thanks for letting us partner in prayer with your ministry. God Bless
Yeah Lord More Fruit !
Dear Victor,
I just wanted to send a note to thank you for coming to Maine and sharing your testimony Sunday night with us all at Calvary Chapel in Orrington, Maine. My husband, attended the men’s conference and is currently reading your book. He has read a few chapters to me when we’ve been together; I intend to read it myself when he is done.
While it is true we all have our own story to tell, it just makes me want to cry to think of all you went through. I am so grateful that the Lord carried you through those horrible times and rescued you bringing you to the place you are at. He certainly is using you mightily; you are a special trophy of His. I just want you to know that I will be keeping your powerful ministry in prayer. God’s many blessings to you and your family.
With the love of Christ, our Saviour,
— J.H.
I go to Calvary Chapel in Bangor, ME. I would like to thank you for coming and sharing your testimony. It brought to light some things I was ignoring from my past. Now I have offered it up to Christ, and He is healing me. I will be praying for your family and your ministry that Christ will continue to use you! God Bless, and thanks again.

***** I was there at Calvary Chapel in Orrington Sunday Night, and i wanted to let you know that your testimony was absolutely amazing. It hit my family and I broadsided like a runaway train, but in a good way. It touched us and spoke to us. Especially my uncle, he said he talked to you, but then again, a lot of people did
Like you said, you have to forgive, and seeing you up their, people could tell that you had forgiven and no one would ever know you went through that. Your a funny and inspiring man, and i wanted to thank you so much. My moms in a recovery program, shes an alcoholic, and she was their that night. And her being their with me right beside her must have showed her something. So i thank you and my family and i keep you in our prayers.

**** Saw you last night at church…what a gift God has given you! My 18 year old prodigal even came to see you and brought his girlfriend. His friends who said that they would come to church too all went to the State Fair instead. At first he was really mad about it. I told him he could go with his friends but he said no he promised me he would come with me and he wanted to keep his word. He didn’t raise his hand but I know the Word of God will keep working long after he left the building. I ordered the CD of the service and of the Men’s Conference on Saturday too, which my son wants to borrow to share with his friends…So he will be an unknown witness to his friends that chose the fair over church.
God Bless;
