Spreading Christ’s love to incarcerated youth is the heart of the ATP ministry. The letter below is from a mother of a boy who is incarcerated at a juvenile detention facility that I visited recently. I have changed his name to Mark to protect his privacy. Receiving letters like this help us to know that the power of God is at work in what we are doing.
Mr. Marx,
I wanted to write and tell you something amazing. My son is currently a resident at a juvenile hall in California. Mark is my youngest child. He is 17 years old. Mark has always been very smart and became an Eagle Scout at 15. However, he has a dangerous fascination with explosives and guns that has landed him in juvie for the third time.
Mark had a history with drug use and was angry and sometime mean. I visit him as often as I’m allowed. After you came to talk with the boys, he was so excited. He sat down and read your book cover to cover. For the first time ever we talked of God and finding a place where he can feel at peace. He had some school books that needed to be returned to the school so he added your book to the pile to come out because he wanted me, his girlfriend and his siblings to read it.
NO ONE has touched my boy in this positive fashion.
Thanks for the encouragement and the spark you gave my boy. I love him so much and I’m so afraid he will be lost forever if he doesn’t find hope soon. If your book can touch this boy, it must be amazing.

Please join me in praying for Mark and his family. Pray that his curiosity and need for love and peace will lead him closer to Jesus. Pray that Mark will be filled with God’s love and use his talents and gifts to serve for good not evil.
Your prayers DO make a difference in the lives of these kids!

PTL!! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for all that ATP is doing. I am glad to hear of young people to pray for & how God can use imprisonment to set them free. It is a testimony of how God uses hard times for our good & can soften our hearts of stone.
I have gained insight into our “mission” for worship dance evangelism teams from your ministry & book. After reading Victor’s book, I knew it was as important a tool as the spiritual laws to share with anyone who has suffered oppression – & that’s just about every human heart.
We are members of Mountain Springs Church where I was privileged to hear Victor speak this past year. I payed before the books were published for Victor’s book & was so touched when I received it & read such powerful testimonies of God’s transforming love.
I am hoping to use our training from Share Jesus Without Fear & The Way of the Master as we find occasions to touch people through the universal language of dance & theatre w/ God’s saving message of hope & repentance. I plan to have an arsenol of All Things Possible books to hand out to people needing hope. But with this vision, I personally need prayer as we keep things under God’s order of priorities: personal spiritual maturity, marriage, family, homeschool, work & ministry. We have a very small team & could only evangelize a few times a yr., but are in training weekly.
May God continue to use you,
Marty Mielke

Awesome. Thanks for sharing and I will be praying for Mark ans well as the other kid’s that are incarcerated.
Thanks for sharing this — and all the stories you send. They are encouraging and send us all a push into intercession for our precious brothers and sisters not-yet-fully-adopted.

i was once listining to a couple of guy’s throwing a football around at the beach, one day. one guy replied to the other,” hey you throw the football like a girl” the other guy responded, “hey homie i never had anyone teach me how to play sport’s ,because i had no father in my life”!! Vic, God has given you a strong role doing what you do with these youngsters.
I remember as a young kid growing up in a divorced family, If my father would come and watch my high school football games i could find him in a crowd of 2 thousand people in a second. these young men to are looking for favor in someones eye’s, you most likely are the only father figure that they might have, in the short time you visit. i pray for you daily Vic. thanks for all you & ATP do, see you saturday at the martial art’s demo, with my grandson. God Bless You. Steve. Zechariah 4:6
